Lunch Break needs: Pasta and rice. Bring your gifts to church and leave them in the baskets by the front door.
If you have good, clean used clothing, see Deacon Bob. Thanks for all you have given this year.

Coffee Hour: If you haven’t done so recently, please sign up on the Narthex bulletin board to host a coffee hour. It’s easy - and everyone truly appreciates it. A huge thanks to everyone who has gotten us to March with cakes, cookies and the aroma of hot coffee wafting through the church.

Flowers: If you would like to give the flowers for a Sunday service in memory of a loved one or in celebration of a person or an event, the cost is $25. If you wish to sponsor only one of the arrangements of the Sunday flowers, you may also do that, but we ask a donation of at least half the cost. Place your offering in an envelope with your name and the name of the person you are remembering or the cause for the celebration and put it in the offering plate. Your loved one’s name or celebration will be noted in the Sunday bulletin so that we can all remember him, her or the event along with you.

Call for all Holy Communion Items If you have any records, items or historical information at home that you have been storing for the parish, would you please bring the items in to Deacon Bob. This will be a tremendous help with the activities that we have to do during the interim period.

Parish Office Calls: Please direct all calls to the parish office to Deacon Bob at 732-842-0048 until further notice. Also, the parish copier is at Deacon Bob’s house. If you need copies for any parish related purpose, get the copy ready materials to him before the event and he will take care of it.

Addition to Thursday Service: Early in the fall, Fr. Jim started a rosary devotion on Thursday evening at 7 pm. The prayer meeting, held in the chapel, has been a popular devotion with a steady following. At the last meeting. the members decided to incorporate a healing service into this weekly offering. The intent is to use the Rosary as the liturgy of the word and use the healing service to complete the evening.

The Ministry of Healing service from the New Zealand Book of Common Prayer on pages 738 to 745 will be used as an experiment to begin. This text is being chosen to replace the Book of Common Prayer service that Fr. Jim used as the Liturgy of the Word in the monthly healing services followed by the Eucharist.

These services were discontinued last spring because of scheduling problems. Tuesday night Evening Prayer service will continue as usual but the location of the service will depend on the size of the congregation. We will begin in the chapel and move to the main church if there are too many parish family members to fit in the chapel.
